Vinit Consultants is a Structural Engineering & Construction Management firm providing services to architects, owners, contractors, and developers. Since our founding in 1991 by Mr. V.K Jain, we have designed and constructed numerous landmark projects across the world and established a strong reputation for design and construction excellence. Virendra Kumar Jain’s knack for problem solving led him to his career in structural engineering. He has developed a passion for the entire design process from a building concept through construction. After gaining considerable experience by working with companies like Sterling Engineering and Gammon India, he founded his own company Vinit Consultants in the year 1991 in Mumbai.
With over 30 years of structural engineering experience, Mr. V.K. Jain covers a wide range of new and retrofit design projects, vulnerability assessments, and risk management studies and structural audits. He has extensive experience in the analysis of structures and facades for extreme loading conditions and the development and implementation of cost-effective and constructable design solutions for complex structures. His background is in the field of seismic engineering, in which he has collaborated on a variety of low to high-rise structures, utilizing a broad range of construction materials, in both domestic and international locations. He has worked in a range of market sectors leading roles on the design team, as a client representative, and providing construction support.
His dynamic vision, strategic focus and entrepreneurial skills continue to guide the growth of the Company’s businesses across demanding markets and competitive scenarios
V.K. Jain received his B.E. in Civil Engineering and M.E. in Structural Engineering from the SGSITS, Indore. He is a registered Structural Engineer.

Vinit Jain combines his experience in architecture and construction with a diligence for executing the design intent for each project. His strong suit is in facilitating the complete process, from concept to design development to construction, leading documentation, estimating, detailing, and representing the owner’s goals along the way. He is highly versatile, a great communicator and is collaborative with owners, contractors and designers involved in each project.
At Vinit Consultants, he is responsible for total project management including controlling budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. A team player, Vinit holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners and architects resulting in successful construction experiences.
Vinit has over 10 years experience overseeing all phases of multi-million-dollar construction projects, including infrastructure, residential, commercial and retail projects for both public and private sector clients. Working with the United Nations in New York as an Architect was a dream come. He also gained experience working as a Cost Engineer with Gardiner & Theobald, World Trade Centre and HNTB, Empire State Building in New York which gave him a good insight of the present construction scenario in the United States.
Vinit Jain received his Bachelor in Architecture from University of Mumbai and M.S. in Construction Management from Florida International University, Miami. He is registered with the Council of Architecture.
